I opened my eyes for the first time in 1977, Sofia, Bulgaria. Not long after I turned five I started swimming. I walked the line as a professional athlete all the way through year 2002, became a national champion of Bulgaria in triathlon, won many races and so on. Staring at the black line on the bottom of the swimming pool for so long, however, had such a miraculous side effect over my creativity. It developed lovely tints of imagination, vision, perception. It made me see beauty out of nothing until I realized "nothing" means a lot. A great thing for me to do now is to recreate this beauty with my camera.
